Our family of orbital welding power sources

Which orbital power source suits you best? Find it out!

Welding work can vary greatly in scope and application areas - from prefabrication at a fixed workstation to installation work in plants and on construction sites. With our family of orbital welding power sources, you are able to respond flexibly to a wide range of requirements. But which power source is best suited for which job?

Mobile Welder

Do you perform installation work on construction sites? Are you new to orbital welding or do you only have to weld a few orbital seams a day? Then the Mobile Welder is just right for you! With the Mobile Welder, we offer the perfect entry-level model for orbital welding.

The Mobile Welder is a portable orbital welding power source that is quite simple and intuitive to operate. The power source offers all the basic functions needed for orbital welding. In addition, the Mobile Welder impresses with a low learning curve. In addition, welding programs can be created via the integrated auto-programming function. Together with our open, gas-cooled orbital welding heads, orbital welds can be produced very easily and flexibly. The Mobile Welder is equipped with a carrying handle and shoulder strap and can even be carried with one hand at a weight of approx. 15 kg. A major advantage is that manual welding and tacking can be performed in addition to orbital welding. The power source is equipped with a manual welding mode and a TIG hand torch can be connected at any time. Depending on the requirements, a flexible change between the manual and orbital welding mode is possible.

The application areas of the Mobile Welder range from the food industry to dairies and breweries.

If your welding requirements and areas of application change, you have the option of upgrading the Mobile Welder at any time. There are two options for this: First, you can also operate liquid-cooled orbital welding heads with the Mobile Welder. All you need in addition is the external ORBICOOL MW cooling unit. Secondly, you have the option of upgrading the software to have a wide range of smart functions available, such as weld data logging and digital weld gas management.

Ultimately, the Mobile Welder guarantees consistent high-quality welds and is ideal for entry-level orbital welding. Furthermore, the power source is able to grow with your challenges at any time.

Mobile Welder OC Plus

You are already familiar with the world of orbital welding and want a reliable orbital welding power source that is suitable for both stationary and mobile use? Then the Mobile Welder OC Plus is your right choice!

The Mobile Welder OC Plus is a portable orbital welding power source that consists of the Mobile Welder and the ORBICOOL MW cooling unit. The power source has a carrying handle and shoulder strap and impresses with its lightweight and compact design. In addition, it is equipped with the latest information and communication technology and accordingly has advanced software functionalities. The Mobile Welder OC Plus is compatible with almost all Orbitalum welding heads.  The operation of the Mobile Welder OC Plus is very simple and intuitive, at the same time only a small amount of familiarization and training is required. A great feature of the Mobile Welder OC Plus is that it can be used both in prefabrication at a fixed workstation and for installation work in plants and on construction sites. In addition, a manual welding mode is integrated in the software. This means that manual pipe joints can also be welded in places that are difficult to access with the orbital welding head.

The areas of application for the Mobile Welder OC Plus are in pipeline construction. This mainly concerns process plant construction in the semiconductor, food and pharmaceutical industries.

The Mobile Welder OC Plus is an all-rounder that can be used as a portable power source, both stationary and mobile. In addition, it can be switched between manual and orbital welding modes depending on requirements, allowing even greater flexibility in application.

Smart Welder

You work in prefabrication at a fixed workstation and have to produce as many welds as possible? Do you attach great importance to short production times and require comprehensive documentation for your welds? Then choose our proven Smart Welder orbital welding power source.

The Smart Welder is an orbital welding power source that is primarily used for stationary prefabrication work in production. The Smart Welder has an attractive and practical housing with integrated carrying handles on the sides. It is operated intuitively via the large, clearly arranged touch display or the multifunctional rotary control. The digital and precise welding gas control, in combination with the integrated "PERMANENT-GAS" function, enables welds of the highest purity with low welding gas requirements. As a result, welds are virtually free of tarnish, while costs per weld are reduced. In addition, the unique flow-force function minimizes gas pre- and post-flow times. The result is shorter production times, higher productivity and increased duty cycle. The Smart Welder can be integrated into a LAN network via the integrated LAN interface, allowing welding data and programs to be retrieved and stored centrally. All welding data and programs of each individual weld can be retrieved and documented without gaps, can be analyzed, and can be adopted and optimized for future welds. All Orbitalum welding heads can be operated with the Smart Welder.

The areas of application for the Smart Welder extend to thin-walled pipeline construction, including semiconductor manufacturing, the food industry, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, as well as heat exchanger construction. .

The Smart Welder is an intelligent power source equipped with the latest information and communication technology, ensuring the best welding results, high efficiency and sustainable quality management.
