The OWX table mount is a stable and flexible solution for securely attaching the OWX weld head directly at the workstation. It allows for ergonomic and easily accessible positioning of the weld head – ensuring comfortable, efficient, and safe working conditions.

Whether at the edge of the table, firmly screwed onto the workbench, or integrated into a custom clamping system: the table mount flexibly adapts to various working environments and ensures a firm hold in any situation. This way, the OWX weld head remains readily accessible and stable – both in use and when stored. In this video, we show you how to properly mount the holder and securely fix the weld head. How to Set Up the OWX Table Mount

 

  1. Quick installation on the table edge: Align the base of the table mount parallel to the table edge so that the mounting bolt points away from the table. Slide the vice angle into the guide groove of the base and tighten the clamping screw until the mount is stable.
  2. Fixed screw connection on the worktop: Position the base of the mount parallel to the edge of the table. Secure the mount directly to the worktop using the four mounting holes and suitable screws.
  3. Integration into alternative fastening systems: Align the bracket parallel to the edge of the table. Use the integrated rubber pad as a support surface for the feet of screw clamps or quick-release clamps from other fastening systems. Please observe the respective installation instructions for the alternative system.

 

Secure the OWX Correctly in the Table Mount

 

  1. Ensure that the clamping lever of the table mount is not turned out too far to prevent the welding head from falling off.
  2. Loosen the clamping lever of the table mount.
  3. Hold the OWX welding head vertically by the handle and guide the lower, extended area of the mounting eye completely over the head of the mounting bolt.
  4. Press against the stop surface of the guide groove.
  5. Push the mounting eye of the welding head completely over the bolt in the holder from above until it rests at the bottom.
  6. Short-term storage: If you only want to set the welding head aside (parking), leave the clamping lever open. The welding head is now hooked in but not clamped and can be easily removed again.
  7. Stationary use: If you want to mount the welding head securely (clamping), turn the threaded sleeve clockwise until the clamping lever can be moved with slight pressure. Fold the clamping lever down completely. The welding head is now securely fixed and cannot slip during operation.
  8. If you want to remove the welding head from the table mount, follow the steps in reverse order.
