After the successful merger in 2009, of Orbimatic and Orbitalum Tools into the new Orbitalum Tools GmbH with locations in Buseck and Singen, we would like to inform you about changes in the leadership of the company:

Achim Schneider was promoted to Vice President ITW Welding Northern Europe in December 2009 and is now responsible for a group of other ITW companies in Europe as well.

As a result, Markus Tamm, former Head of Marketing and Sales, has been assigned to Managing Director of Orbitalum Tools GmbH. Together with his team he will continue to develop Orbitalum Tools with a strong focus on our key end markets.

As a logic consequence, in addition to his responsibility as BU Energy Manager, Andreas Lier has been assigned to Head of Sales. In this function he will focus on the continuous integration of our two core brands Orbimatic and Orbitalum as well as on the development of the E.H. Wachs business in Europe.

We are proud and happy of being able to fill these leadership positions with capable leaders of our own team. This will provide a solid basis for the continuous growth and success of Orbitalum Tools GmbH.
